Hawaiian and pilots" union reach tentative contract deal
Hawaiian Airlinesand the union representing its pilots have tentatively agreed on the terms of a new 63-month employment contract, the Honolulu-based airline announces.
The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) will now bring the deal to pilots, who will vote between 6-24 March on whether to ratify the deal, saysHawaiianin a media release.

The new contract would run from 1 April to 1 July 2022, saysHawaiian, which employs 665 unionised pilots.
The airline does not provide additional details about the contract.
News broke on 8 February thatHawaiianand ALPA had reached an "agreement in principle" on a new deal.
The airline and union have been negotiating since May 2015. The pilots' current contract become amendable in September 2015.
